The Honorable Vice Mayor Shirlyn L. Bañas-Nograles and Officials of the SangguniangPanlungsod of General Santos City visited Quezon City on June 16, 2016 for a Benchmarking Tour.

Drawing inspiration from the Quezon City Council’s recent triumph as the National Winner of the 2015 Local Legislative Award, the Sangguniang Panlungsod of General Santos City expressed their desire to emulate Quezon City’s best practices, particularly in local legislation, in their continuing efforts to improve policymaking and service delivery to the community.

General Santos City has been a sister city of Quezon City since 1994.
